WENY, I HAVE A FRIEND THAT I HAVE BEEN FRIENDS WITH FOR A LONG TIME, BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT EVERYTIME SHES ENVOLVED WITH A GUY SHE JUST ACTS AS IF HES THE ONLY PERSON THAT EXSITS. SHE STOOD ME UP AT MY WEDDING IN 2002 AS MY BRIDESMAID AND HER SON AS MY RINGMAN I DIDNT SPEAK TO HER FOR ABOUT A YEAR AFTER THAT. I FORGAVE HER FOR THAT AND WE STARTED HANGING OUT AGAIN. IN THE PAST YEAR IN A HALF SHE STARTING DATING A GUY I DONT CARE MUCH FOR AND WE WERE BACK ON THE SAME PAGE SHE NEVER CALLS OR TAKES THE TIME TO BE A FRIEND, AGAIN I LET IT SLIDE AND TOLD HER THAT SHE WASNT BEING A GOOD FRIEND SHE JUST BRUSHED IT OFF. MY FRIEND AND HER BOYFRIEND SEPERATED FOR A SHORT TIME OVER THE SUMMER AND MY FRIEND ASKED COULD SHE COME STAY WITH ME SO I LET HER AFTER ALL THAT. My question is, I am a 47 year old divorced woman who has had a crush on a 50 plus year old man. I would love to date this man, however, my fear is that because we together I don’t stand a chance. I don’t want to ruin our working relationship, but I am so feeling this man. Help a sista out!
