  1. Wendy I personally love your show & I know you can be messy sometimes but during your hot topic session when you were speaking of Leona Lewis I was deeply disappointed. I’ve been enjoying her music for a while now and I can’t wait for her next CD in November so I really don’t understand why you say she doesn’t have “star quality”. Everyone should know that they are special in one way or another & she has a destiny in being a phenomenal singer. And as for her not talking, she actually does…she has a British type accent which you can tell from her interviews. Look for her on YouTube. I mean she was on VH1 Divas not too long ago which speaks for itself.
Leona doesn’t have to be like every other celebrity and do stupid ploys to be in the tabloids so people can know her name; her life shouldn’t have to be about drama for her to be famous & it’s not…there’s enough reality shows out today for that anyways. She is genuinely a sweet girl who has a passion for singing and if she can’t be popular for that then you people that don’t know her need to catch up!!

    Much love,

  2. Hi Wendy:
How you doin! I caught Thursday’s show last night and saw the shape wear product. How comfortable is this product? Also there is a remedy to shaping and sculpting our arms at any age. If you do bicep curls and tricep extension it will alleviate this issue. I totally disagree with the inventor that as women age we have this problem. I have worked out in the past 10 years and just turned 40; my arms are tight. Still maintained working while pregnant twice. The only struggle I have is toning my abs.

  3. Hi Wendy,

Shout out to Alana Stewart for mentioning how we do it in Nacogdoches Texas. Wendy, I love your show keep up the good work.

And you are my friend in my head. I have a t-shirt, one of my collections called Inspirational T-shirt Greetings. I would love to send one to you. The back has two ladies walking together and on the front it says “You’ve made my day. Thanks for being a true friend.” And Wendy I believe if you were not just my friend in my head you would be a for real true friend. Please let me know the size and where to send it.

  13. Hey Wendy, I luv your show and enjoy very much looking at you and your mannerisms, whole lott’a fun!! However, you mentioned and made comments on today’s show, Thursday…Oct. 15, 2009 about blackeye peas and ham hocks / neckbones being a “Black Thing”…wrong…us white ppl tear it up too!! I know you’re from New York, I’m from Virginia and love’em big time!! Just a note to let’ya know. Take care and keep lookin’ fine………Steve

  14. Hi Wendy. You’re doing great. I watch your show, the View, and if there is something interesting, I will watch parts of other talk shows. When all of the others are asking PC/canned questions straight off the press release, you find something really interesting to chat about with the celebrities. For example, I loved that you spent the interview with Alana Stewart talking about Alana Stewart. It reminded me that she was such an interesting, colorful personality on her own and that her book about Farrah is more than just her following with a camcorder being in awe of her celebrity friend, the book is about two kindred equals. Also, I loved the blind date story between Chris Rock and Nia Long. Keep up the interesting interviews.

  15. Hi, Wendy just wanted to say I Love your show, i don’t do anything until after your show. It airs in Atlanta, Ga at 10am. I do my breakfast in the morning watching you when i really should be looking for a job. Just wanted to say keep up the good job DON’T change. and also i grow up eating blackeye peas, they are good with some HOT homemade biscuits.

  16. Dear Wendy: I watched today to see Alana Stewart. Once I heard you mention black eyes in your crock pot, I knew she would call you out on that. She and I are proud of our Texas heritage but both from limited means. My family lived in East Texas and had a year round garden. We ate what we raised, whether it was peas or pig. My two sons never lived on a farm but both love the food I cooked for them. Black eyed peas, crowder peas, cream peas, pinto beans, lima beans, fried liver, okra, fried green tomatoes, homemade ice cream, chocolate cream pie, coconut cream pie, cornbread, etc. For you to assume that only black people eat black eyed peas is painting with a huge brush, don’t you think?
There are several black ladies who work with me who are shocked when I mention things that I cook being the same as things they grew up on. I have carried this food tradition on in my family. Both of my sons, when sick or in need of comfort food, have requested one of these recipes from me.
Today was the first time I watched but I will again on my days off. Keep up the good work.

  17. Hi Wendy,

My Mom and I love your show. I watch your show after the Monique show on BET at 12 am. My mother is 89 years old and she watches your show faithful at Midnight. If I want the latest topics and fashions, your show is the one. Keep up the good work and the greatest success to you.

    You Fan,
    Engrid

  18. Wendy or to who is involved with PR:
Suggestion: It would be a nice gesture if you the guests you have on your show either sings or writes and is discussing their book or CD coming out for your PR to promote the new items by giving a complimentary copy to the audience. For example Alana Stewart’s book…I went to the View yesterday and saw Alana Stewart there and I received a free book which I thought was very nice in addition to Valerie Bertinelli’s new book and Jeff Kinneys book and a CD of a band. You need to do this.. The View does it, Oprah does it, Rachel Ray does it. We know you have it in you girl!

  19. Hi Wendy,

My mom and I just LOVE your show. One of the main reasons why we love to watch your show, is because you keep us updated on the latest topics, trends, fashions, etc. We get so caught up with every day life’s work and struggles, that we sometimes forget to enjoy life, and participate in what’s new, which sometimes can lift us up. Your show certainly does that…and we thank you for that. Now, one fashion/trend question: we have recently noticed several of your guests wearing necklaces with one wing. What does this mean? Where can we find these? They are beautiful?

    Sincerely,

Your two #1 fans: Mary and Iris

  20. Hi Wendy,

I am a big fan of your show and up until a week ago, I have not been able to watch you. Recently BET changed your time from 10:00p.m to 11:00p.m central time. The Monique Show now shows at 10:00p.m. Now don’t get me wrong I like Monique as a comedian but her talk show is horrible. Please tell the producers in charge that the Monique Show is just not worth the change. I work 8am to 4pm and I just can’t stay awake that long no matter how hard I try. Now I know you might say I can watch you online, but it is not that same as sitting on the couch relaxing while watching your show. How You Doin?

    Sincerley,

    Your fan Charlotte
