  1. Hi Wendy I just want to comment on your outfit you had on Oct 1. The color lavender looked really pretty on you. I love the shoes. And one last comment I love your new fall color for your wig. Keep up the good work.

  2. OK, so I’m a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE Wen Will fan since she was on radio in NY YEAARSSSS ago. I’ve always listened to the show on the radio before I had my Daughter and was DELIGHTED to see her on tv in NY. Now, I live in California and miss NY DEARLY. Its a huge culture shock to me because of the way I’m used to living (FIERCE DAAHLING!).

Flipping through the channels, I found my sister Cancerian (in my head) on TV!!!!

Thanks for reminding me how bedazzling I am in any state, Wen! Glad to see you on TV.

(PSSSST!!! BY THE WAY: I got my 4 y.o. daughter, who’s a Cancer too – doing how-you-doin’ and WILL be sending vid soon) BESSSSOOSSS WENDYYYYYY

  3. Hello Wendy,

My wife is an elementary school teacher. Every year the school puts on a Halloween parade, and kids the do a little in school Trick-or-Treating after school. The Parade is an fun filled event, the kids wear their costumes and the Teachers and staff all dress up as well.
This year my wife wants to dress up as the Tooth Fairy, and pass out tooth brushes instead of candy. She figures the kids will get enough sweets throughout the night, and figured she would do something to benefit the kids. I have decided to help her out, without her knowledge, and contact the different tooth brush manufactures and asked for either donation, or discounted tooth brushes.
Well, much to my dismay, they have turned me down stating that, “they do not respond to individual request for donation and that they only donate to organizations that have a certified 501 (c) (3) tax status under the IRS code”. Unfortunately I am not an organization and I do not have the tax status to qualify.
I was wondering if you have any suggestions on how I can get some donations or a discounted price, since this might be an out of pocket expense? All I am trying to do is help my wife start healthy habits in the lives of school children.

    Thank you for your time

    Chris

    P.S. love your show!

  4. Dear Wendy, I want your opinion; if a father once nurturing begins neglecting
his kids and has begins a new relationship not considering the kids
emotional health what would you say to that father? That father is Lamar Odom.
All summer long no contact. At the end of August he called everyday for
a week & told his kids he was coming and never did. Wendy, Lamar’s father
did the very same thing to Lamar growing up. The family feels his behavior is
the reaction of Lamar, not getting counseling or grieve the tragedys he & his
family endured. What’s your view Wendy, I want to know?

  8. Wendy, I loved your Friday show! And you are the first to commemorate the 30th anniversary of rap group Sugarhill Gang’s 1979 hit Rapper’s Delight by having them perform on the show! In many ways, this is the first rap song that most or all of us heard on the radio. It just broke it a lot bigger to mainstream radio levels! There was reluctance in the ’80s and ’90s in some cases, but the music industry accepted, loved and respected rap more and more with the music and the culture of it. I think this song is responsible for the Jay-Z’s, Eminems, Run-DMCs, Will Smiths and Lil’ Waynes that dominate radio and album sales over the years. The two original members still look great and the two new members bring a modern vibe to their performance. I like how they update the song to today with their rap style in this performance. At my class’ 10-year high school class reunion in August 1998, the DJ played it at the dance and the whole floor was packed! People still REMEMBER and LOVE this song years later! The lyrics are still funny in some parts, yet no nonsense in others. From the Bronx to the world, thanks Sugarhill and keep rocking stages around the world!

I wanted to thank you Wendy – I’m a “Jersey Girl” now living in Louisiana, no not
New Orleans(which used to be my favorite party city), I married a cajun man and I live
in the Bayou (snakes, armadillos & alligators!) , and I hardly ever get back to NJ.
Seeing you on t.v. every evening (we don’t get you down here on Fox, only on BET) makes me feel like I’m back home. It’s my “Jersey Hour” and no one bothers me during that time. You are my “little sister in my head” and I wish you success in all your endeavors. Keep it Real!!!!
    love & hugs,
    jacqueline in Louisiana.

  16. Hey Wendy Me and my husband were watchin the show and he commented on the comment Lisa Lampanelli said about Black men liking big butt’s so they can hide behind them when the rent is do, I feel that was a broad statement and I know she say what she feel but I feel that was very racist and my husband really didn’t believe she said that even tho he know all black men are not like that it still was racist, we watch your show together and I just want her to know some things you just don’t say. who is she any way…..
