Heading Back Home
Going home.
Wendy grew up in Asbury Park, New Jersey for the first 5 years of her life, which is why she wanted to give back to the school students in her home town.
Before she got to the school, Wendy talked about what it means for her to go back where she grew up and took us by her childhood home.

That side of New Jersey is nice from your clip, very hilly landscapes. I’m so used to seeing the urban sides of the state from the New Jersey Turnpike and its flat plains (Mercer County/Somerset/Union/Essex/Bergen) on past road trips from North Carolina. Liked the part where you showed Ocean Township and even your childhood home.

Wow! How you doin? Wendy you were the buzz on facebook on yesterday and today! I am from Asbury Park. I lived there for 28 years. I reside in Moultrie, Georgia now. What a wonderful gesture! You are so the bomb! Just the look on the kid’s faces was enough to make me tear up. My prayer is that God rain down favor in your life! I have family that still lives there so I know what an impact your very presence did for those children.
P.S. Girl…did you get your sub? Cause let me tell you…I miss them soooo much!
