Fall Fashion Accessories Under $100
Hot in fall!
Life and Style magazine Editor-at-Large, Dawn Yanek, is showing us some of fall’s trendiest accessories, all for under $100.
Check out these must-have fall fashion accessories!
Handbags: Bags with embellished studded details and metallic accented clutch purses are hot this fall.
The slouchy studded hobo look is a big style for this season. These bags are all about the hardware — detailed grommets, studs and zippers. Very rocker chic!
Get It: Melie Bianco double pocket hobo with studded detail, $91 at meliebianco.com.
Small cross-body bag is just like a messenger bag, only smaller. This is a great alternative to a clutch. It’s multifunctional and hands-free!
Get It: Sak FreeBird Studded small drawstring, $49 at thesak.com.
Over-sized metallic clutches are in. Metallic was a big trend last season and this season it’s now okay to wear metallics during the day. Glam it up this fall. This over-sized clutch is more practical and the best part — you can fit more than just your credit card and cell phone in them.
Get It: BCBG oversized metallic clutches, $58 at Dillard’s.
Art Deco/Vintage Earrings: Look ultra-glam, but at a fraction of the cost. Big jewels and statement pieces have been in style for the past few seasons, and they’re even bigger this fall!
Jeweled bib necklaces are intricate, heavily jeweled pieces that make a big statement. Bib necklaces are better for curvy girls than chunky chokers. They lie flat on your chest, creating a slimming effect.
Get It: The Elli jewel-tone stone bib necklace is $42. (619) 702-5799.
Ribbon/fabric necklaces are sexy, ladylike with a funky feel. They tie in the back instead of the traditional clasp.
Get It: Macy’s ribbon detailed jewelry, $25 available at select Macy’s.
Decorative zipper detailing is popping up in everything from necklaces to cuffs. For girls adding this trend to their ensemble for the first time, start small with a cuff or bracelet. It’s a great accent piece, without competing with your entire look.
Get It: Adia Kibur at Supplements NY has some great zipper jewelry pieces ranging from $45 – $72 for cuffs and different necklaces. Visit lifemix.net for more!
Shoes. Shoes. Shoes: The trend this season is in the detailing. Step out wearing a sexy new pair of heels with embellishments, edgy details, studs and grommets.
Embellished flats are affordable, but look high-end. They can also kick up a casual outfit.
Get It: Candy by Zigi “Ruble” embellished flats, $89.95 at bakerssheos.com.
Colored suede T-strap peep-toes can add a burst of color to an outfit and are a must-have for any closet.
Get It: Nine West “Palomino” high heel t-strap peep-toe, $89 at ninewest.com.
Animal print shoes are some of Wendy’s favorites. Not only are they sexy and sassy, but they can also change your mood! Animal print heels are an easy way to add some fun and excitement to any outfit.
Get It: Leopard print peeptoe wedge, $39 at NewportNews.com or MIA Zebra closed-toe pump and Leopard peep-toe pumps, $40 at overstock.com.
Outerwear: It’s important to make sure your outfit is put together, but don’t forget the essential outerwear.
Keep your hands warm with embellished gloves. Zipper detailing, grommets, jewels and chains are hot this fall.
Get It: Zara knits gloves, ALL are $12.90 each and black leather gloves with gems, $59.90 available at Zara stores. The Echo Design bronze leather grommet gloves are $78 available at echodesign.com.
Chunky infinity scarves a very fashionable this season and you never have to worry about knotting or draping a scarf again.
Get It: The Limited “Forenza Infinity Scarf” in acrylic yarn, $39.50 at thelimited.com.
Cloche hats are back! These hats have a classic, ’40s-era feel and are a statement accessory.
Get It: Betmar cloche hats, $48 – $76, at shopmedianoch.com or villagehatshop.com. San Diego Hat Company clothe hats, $36 – 54, available at sandiegohat.com.

Hello Wendy,
My name is Jonathan Taylor from Middletown,NY and I am a huge fan of your show.I am a young adult who knows how to dress and try’s my best to look good all of the time.My comment is that,a lot of television shows just like yours, show things like fashion (clothes) and accessories for just women. And I was wondering when will you show things like fashion and accessories like that for men.I know I don’t know if I am the only one who is speaking about this certain matter, but I would like to find out ways to shop for under a $100.00 or what to wear and what not to wear for the season.Again I am a huge fan of the show and I watch your show every single day with my family members.Shout out to everyone in Middletown,Ny and I can’t forget my two great jobs Little Scoops the Sweetest Party Place in Town,(maybe one day if your not busy you can come up here *wink wink*)and Spencer’s Spirit Halloween Store!!

I know that you love all things Kardashian, so you should talk about one of Kim’s new business ventures. She has a Website called ShoeDazzle.com. Which is the best sight ever. Its with Robert Shapiro & it is a monthly show subscription. You answer a set of questions that will help the stylist figure out your personal style. Then the 11st of every month you are sent an email with 5 shoes that should fit your style. Each pair of shoes is only $39 and they are yours to keep. It’s the best thing for the recesssion. The shoes are very trendy. They have a group on facebook where we all show our selections for the month & see if there are any other ones that we may like. If there is, all we have to do is call Shoe Dazzle customer service to order them. The are shipped to you for free and return them for free. It includes a return Fed-ex label. I think your viewers you really like to know about this. Where else can you get get trendy shoes for under $40. All the shoes I have pick have heels 3 1/2 inches and up. Please put this on your show. Thanks

Hello Wendy. First of all, love the show. It’s just amazing!
But my question is, on the show there was (his name escapes me, but he’s bald and always wears sunglasses *his signature look*). Anyway, I am very flat chested and he showed a product that Paris Hilton sometime uses (because sometime that girl llooks like she’s got alot going on and then the next day nothing). It looked like two cups without straps & snap (or something like that) in the middle. I NEED THIS PRODUCT. But I don’t know what I should be looking for or where.
Please help me!!!

This segment of the show was very nice, but what struck me the most was when you made a comment about the Cloche style hat. You actually started singing the theme song to The Nanny & the Professor!!!!! OMG… I actually tried to finish it. When I was little, I use to love that show. My 20 yr. old daughter, looked at me, and thought we (you and I), were both crazy. It was too funny. Once the show ended, I actually Googled the words to the theme song:
“Soft and sweet, wise and wonderful
Oooh, our mystical, magical Nanny
Since the day that Nanny came to stay with us
Fantastic things keep happening
Is there really magic in the things she does?
Or is love the only magic thing that Nanny brings?
You know our Nanny showed us
You can make the impossible happen
Nanny told us
Have a little bit of faith and lots of love
Phoebe Figalilly is a silly name
And so many silly things keep happening
What is this magic thing about Nanny
Is it love….or is it magic?”
