Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees: The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the nominees for possible induction into the Hall of Fame next March.

The potential nominees are: LL Cool J, Abba, Darlene Love, Donna Summer, Genesis, Jimmy Cliff, Kiss, Laura Nyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Chantels, The Hollies and The Stooges.

Only 5 people or groups are inducted each year.

  1. The Fly Problem… Wendy, the lady from Atlanta gave you good advice about the fly “apple cider” catchers. You can also put apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle and mist the air, the flies hate that.

  2. Hello Wendy and staff. I look at your show everyday and LOVE it. What I wanted to ask is about, a hair product this girl who was going to fire her father for forgetting it at home. It was either this past Monday or last Friday. I’d planned on coming to the website to find out about it, but I didn’t get a chance.So I’d like to know what the name of the product is and where can I find it? Thx

  5. Hi Wendy, I realllllly need your help.
    My question is this: what do you do if you find out that your boyfriend’s bestfriend was the one that was actually interested in you first? in fact, if it wasn’t for him, your boyfriend would not have even thought twice about getting with you! Also, the bestfriend tells me/or gives me hints about my boyfriend whenever he is up to no good, like sneaking around behind my back. He said its because he cares about us both. I’m upset because it seems like the bestfriend cares about me more, plus he’s waaaaaay hotter, and he liked me first but he heard that i was with someone and so was he, so he didn’t try to pursue anything with me. I know its complicated and sloppy so thats why I’m coming to you! what should I do? P.S. If you decide to read this on the air, DON’T SAY MY NAME lol, his mom might watch the show! :)

    Hey Wendy you are the best and your show is so exciting, when you are officiating on the show sometimes it feels like you are directly talking to me with some of your antics. You are the Spunk that was needed in talk shows. I have not seen it for a long time. I watch every night at 10 pm or 1 am, if I am awake.

    I love the way you keep it all real from the hair to the everyday life facts. I know you are an exceptional lady, mother and wife, it is obvious and definitely professional and personable. You have brought the TRUTH AND EXCITEMENT BACK TO TALK SHOW BIZ.

    The guest are wonderful and your rapor with them is hilarious, I love the Ask Wendy segment because Girlfriend, you my dear keep it REAL! How U doing?

    One thing I would comment on I loved it when John said you were the next Oprah, well you are better than the next Oprah, primarily because in the 20 years I watched her and often sometimes lagged off because she is not one who is comfy in her own skin, does not keep it real and is not you, sorry but it IT IS WHAT IT IS, RIGHT.

    I dated a guy 14 years ago. I was 21 and he was 26 when we met. He had a child from a previous relationship that was about 4. When both were in the military and were getting out around the same time. He opted to go back north and i decided to stay near my home in the south. He begged for me to come there, but I was afraid of becoming an adult, stepmother and wife at the time. Well here it is 12 years later and I still love him. What advice can you give a me (a now mature adult) on how to handle these overwhelming feelings of wanting to love him again. I’ve spent hours on the net trying to find out how to contact him. I know there no way for me honestly think we could just pick up where we left off , so how do I resolve this wanting? Cyan

  9. Hello Wendy I am from New Jersey and I have recently become an adult again which means my girls are 22 years old and have moved out of the nest. I am from the same place as you were you grew up and I have a girlfriend that work for the Asbury Park school system and she was telling me how she supply gloves to some of the kids in the winter months and I told her I would love to join her and buy some gloves to give to kids in need so I would like to buy gloves and take them to her so she can continue to do this wonderful warmth and I wanted to know if you would be interested please contact me if you have any interest.   12. Hey Wendy! (How you doin….eyes squinted lips puckered) I’m coming to you with this dilemna because your real and I trust you… I’ve been dating my man for two years now. We just had a beautiful little girl and I have a 3 year old from a previous relationship. He’s a great father and person. The only down fall is he has a “homegirl” that he talks to on the phone or by text and he had the habit of telling her what’s going on with our situation or in our household when we have a spat or disagreement. I told him before that i was not comfortable with it but he still continues to speak with her. He even went as far as to inviting her to my baby shower in our house…..(tell me that’s not weird) and she lives in a town two hours a way. I feel that his friends are more important than me and he doesn’t understand when i try to speak about it. none of his male friends respects me either. what should I do?

    Not to long ago I request tickets For the Sept 29th show. I never Got a Call or a email from the show .Whats more disapointing I wanted surprise My Mother its Her Bday and I know she loves Wendy Williams she been following Her Career for a long time.

  17. Hello Ms Wendy…I just want to know, how do you discuss Whitney Houston downfall, after going through the situations you have gone through. Everyone has their share of problems, so who are you to judge. Just curious. It always seems that everytime Whitney name comes to you its more of a personal sitaution between you two? I feel as if theres more there. I’ve always been a huge fan of Whitney’s………and I like you too. I think it will be ideal for her to make a guest appearance to clear the air. Have a blessed day.

    Here are the dating rules that my mother and grandmother gave me.
    1. The first time you get together, go for a coffee.( To see if you can communicate.)
    2. The first time you get together, the person should be on time. ( If the other person does not show up on time, it may be a sign of lack of interest.)
    3. The second time you go out, it should be a dinner and an early movie.
    4. Always be honest about your feelings, do not lead the other person on.
    5. During the evening, if you get intimate or romantic, keep it to yourself.
    6. Remember it takes a lifetime for a woman to build a good reputation and only two seconds for some idiot to ruin it.
    7. Treat the person you are with the way you expect to be treated.
    These are the rules I live by.
