Hey Wendy, so I saw a video of this epsiode. I believe that the castmate claimed to go to the school that was portrayed in Fame this is not true it is Fiorello H LaGuardia High School of Music& Art and Performing Arts. Its written in history and deserves to be known.

Dear Wendy,
Recently I watch your show staring the cast of the re-make of the fame movie. In NYC, there does exist a highschool upon which the orginal fame movie is based on. One of the cast members claimed to attend the fame school, which he said was PPAS. However, in reality PPAS (perfesional perfoming arts school) is not the fame school. The real fame school is Laguardia Arts located in lincen center. Furthermore, PPAS was not even astabished until 1990 a number of year AFTER both the film and tv show were filmed. Where as Lagurdia has been around decades before. Not to mention, on the DVD of the orginal movie the comentry takes to a trip to visit the fame school, interviewing many of the perfessors at laguardia arts highschool. That being said, none of the cast mates attended the fame school. LaGuardia deserves its place in NYC history. This is all an enlaberate way to get attention for the movie.
