How U Doin? Girl u brought me to tears when you opened up about your past, it took a real down to earth person to do that. I applaud you for how you handled it, I can relate I too have been down that road and it is a wonderful feeling to know that you don’t need that type of crutch anymore. Wendy keep doing what you do best…..luv, luv, luv your show.

Hi Wendy,
I really enjoy the show and I am very happy for you. However, I am not pleased with the comments you made about whitney. I think she did take ownership to what she have done. Just because she was not as open as you were does not mean she was picking all on bobby.I think some things was too personal for her to say. For example, the bobby beatting her. We all know if was more then one time. Anyway, great job and keep on the good work. I WILL BE WATCHING

Hi Wendy, I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you for making this great transition. I really admire you for your honesty and the sensitive side of you. I’m crying everytime right with you. I do applaud you for your openness as a minister when I speak to women I have always found it to be most healing to them to speak the truth and transparency is the key. People are always helped by that type of honesty. By you willing to share what has happened to you I promise you have healed a many of people. I feel the same as you do about the Whitney interview, yes she shared some horrible things that happened but she did not own her part. I had a cocaine using ex husband and he never could entice me to use it. I left the marriage as clean as I went in. We all make choices and we have to own our choices and deal with consequences. You may take some heat for what you said because everybody loves her and so do I but truth is truth and as hard as it is to hear somtime it makes you free. Keep doing what you do and my prayers are with you and as one who ministers to people especially hurting ones, remember the bigger plan for your life is to empower, encourage and impact all those that you are allowed to touch everyday. Much Love Michele

Wendy,
I totally agree with you although I have never been an addicted I totally felt what you were saying I have had a family member and friend who was an addict and they say all the time that you do have to own what you did, and go through the twelve steps. Whitney dodged that question when Oprah asked her I feel that if she didn’t go through a recovery program then she still has a problem. You can’t pray away everything drugs is a strong habit to kick she said that Bobby was her drug but he did not hold a gun to her head and make her smoke and I thought about something she said in the interview when asked what attracted her to Bobby (I can be myself) well that rme because she was portraying that good girl image so was she saying that she was a pot/wu smoker before hooking up with Bobby I think that she liked that lifestyle. I really wonder if she is really drug free.

Hi Wendy, as a recovering addict, I applaud and commend your candid testimony about your journey with drugs. Yes, I started experimenting at the hands of someone else, but they didn’t put a gun to my head to make me do something that I didn’t want to do. I have been down every road, and turned every corner with drugs, from prescription drugs, to weed, crack, and alcohol. The only reason that I have never tried heroin or meth, is because I know my level of addiction and I believe that would be the end of the road for me. Just like me thinking that I was above Crack and could handle it. Needless to say, I fight the urge every day of my life, but with God on my side, nothing is impossible. I take full responsibility for where I have been and am not ashamed, because God has brought me back from the brink and is using me to share my testimony with others. I have dealt with a lifetime of abuse both mental and physical, substance abuse, and am a Lupus patient, but I am still standing. I would not have been able to move forward had I not accepted my role in where I’ve been. The most important thing in my life is where I am going.

WENDy, HoW YoU DOiNG?
FIRST OFF I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOUR SHOW
I WATCH EVERYDAY AT 4:00 AND IF I HAPPEN TO MIISS IT
I AM BLESSED WITH ANOTHER CHANCE TO CATCH IT AT 11:00 P.M.
I’VE BEEN WATCHING THE SHOW FOREVER IT SEEMS LIKE AND NOW
I’VE GOT MY MOTHER WATCHING IT AS WELL. (MISSION ACCOMPLISHED).
WE SAT TOGETHER IN OUR DEN AND WATCHED THE EPISODE WHERE
YOU DISCUSSED YOUR ADDICTION TO YOUR DRUG OF CHOICE AND IT TOUCHED OUR HEARTS. MY MOTHER CRIED BECAUSE SHE WAS ONCE ADDICTED TO DRUGS IN HER YOUNGER YEARS, SHE TELLS ME STORIES AND SAYS “HONEY, I HAVE DONE IT ALL”. MY MOTHER FEELS THAT WHITNEY IS TOTALLY BLAMING BOBBY FOR EVERYTHING INSTEAD OF JUST SAYING “I WAS ADDICTED TO BOTH MY DRUG OF CHOICE AND BOBBY, AND THATS THE PAST IT’S OVER” BUT SHE DOESN’T OWN UP TO HER PART OF THE DISTRUCTION THAT WAS GOING ON. WHEN YOU STARTED CRYING ON T.V THAT MADE ME AND MY MOTHER CRY TO, SHE SAYS SHE TOTALY RESPECTS YOU BECAUSE YOU ADMITTED TO YOUR ADDICTION AND YOU BEING SPIT IN THE FACE, HOW HARD IT MUST BE FOR YOU TO ANNOUNCE THOSE THINGS ON AIR LIKE THAT. MY MOTHER AND I ARE IN THE PROCESS OF STARTING HER VERY OWN CHRISTIAN-BASED DRUG REHAB FACILITY CENTER TO HELP INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ADDICTED TO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL. IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY HARD TO DO, ITS A PROCESS YOU HAVE TO GO INTO KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE DOING, WE DONT HAVE MONEY SO WE CANT PAY ANYONE TO HELP US WITH THIS DREAM OF HERS, BUT WE TRUST GOD AND WITH THAT WE KNOWWE WILL GO FAR, IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK. WE LOVE YOU WENDY FOR ALWAYS KEEPIN’ IT REAL

HOW U DO IN, why is it these days people will fall for a lie quicker than the truth. There are certain people, situations, and thangs that you better not comment on or you will suffer the wrath of the moral majority. Whitney has aged a lot life and drugs have taken a toll on her voice and appearance. Clive Davis is a business man and he saw how he could continue to rake in the bucks that’s why he helped to bring her back. Whitney was and maybe still is one of his biggest money makers. Rather than be judgmental and kick a sista when she’s down I’ll just say life is what it is. Whitney got paid to tell us what she wanted us to know. Oprah raked in the ratings, and we still don’t know what is truth and what is fiction. All I can say is I love how you be keeping it real the truth convicts and cleanses. Furthermore, I listened to Whitney’s new CD and I only liked a couple songs. Everybody doesn’t buy into that religious stuff she spoke about on tv. Much dirt has been done in the name of the Lord. She doesn’t even name the who she looks to in her song.

I think whintey did very well.I love her and i think she did own up to useing drugs.Wendy i love you but i think she did say she did use drugs and that bobby was her drug but not the only drug in use at that time in her life.

wendy. i have smoked crack and done some terrible things. i moved from my home town, seattle washington, and now live in cincinnati oh. i HATE cincinnati oh, and would soooo many levels of love to move out of this place. my momma’ and ‘dem (lol at momma’ and dem’) want me to move home. i can’t move home because i know the drug scene and it wouldn’t be pretty at all for me….NOT AT ALL!!! anywho, i love the fact that you put it out there like that. i would also learn/love the reason you’ve always you’ve always been being where you always be! that is an amazing feat being that you live/work/play where you used to use. i done traveled cross country and got away, but i need to be able to do what i do and be who i be wherever i, WITHOUT drugs and alcohol!!!

Wendy…some of these comments have been brutal.
It’s painfully obvious that people are passionate about the Whitney Houston issue. But come on people… just because it’s a blog doesn’t mean you have to be rude and nasty. If you really watch the show Wendy does have class. You may not agree with her on everything but she is true to herself and that’s why we watch her.
I don’t mean to preach but, we can all have differing opinions but at the end of the day lets agree to disagree and move on. As much as we enjoy her… Wendy Williams is human too and prone to make mistakes like the rest of us. She isn’t her wigs and she isn’t offering unsolicited advice She is an adult and very capable of fighting her own battles. However, I ask you to please closely review what you write before you send you’re comments. Truly Sent In Love

Dear Wendy, This episode where you talk about the Whitney Houston interview moved me in a way I can not explain.I like you was a cocaine abuser for more than 10 years. You talked about ownership, and ownership over something goes much deeper than acknowledgment. Ownership requires you to look much deeper than the surface. You peeled back the layers of yourself and exposed your true inner essence when you talked on that evening. You took me with you on a journey to a place of pain that we both share and I had comfort in knowing that you were right there with me. You are no longer “a friend in my head” but a “friend in my heart.” I believe that a persons commitment to finding and maintaining their “authentic self” is the most important quality you can have as a person.Thank you for sharing your authentic self with me and the world. Regards- Richard Paul Bates

Hi Wendy,
Let me just start by saying i don’t judge people, but this is my opinion and God forgive me if i’m wrong. Everybody is saying Whintney looks good, she’s back and better than ever. NO, NO, NO..Anybody can look good with make-up and nice cloths. Whitney sounds horrible to me, she looks overly made up and i think she’s still dabbling in the drugs. Secondly her CD, have’nt heard the whole CD. The one song in Particular, (Iook to you) beautiful song, but she did’nt bring it on that song. That song was suppose to bring her to a new level if she’s so called back. There were no real high notes and flare to the song at all. Lastly, i don’t think she was a 100% ready to come back. She came back because her azz is about “BROKE”, from drugging all of her money away. I’m so sick of these stars complaining about their “STARDOM”. Suck it up, getting in your business is the name of the game. Future stars, if you don’t want your business out there, (You got it, you do dirt , you get dirt).
P.S. Just not feeling her anymore, don’t think shes GENUINE!
Sincerely,
Not Impressed
