Hey Wendy
I just want to say that I love your show and as for the whitney and Oprah Interview, You know what, Whitney DID OWNED UP TO HER ADDITION and I dont care if anyone does not agree!!!! It was very hard, for her say it to the world but she let it known to the world that had a problem and to me everything you said about her not owning up to her crack, COME ON!!!!!! WOW!!!!! The u sit up there and cry because what u think she should have done!!!! I mean it was brave of you NOW to come out and say that you were doing the same thing!!!!!! But didnt own up to then? But I love Whitney and I say you do your thang and sometime we all make mistakes and right now I think you are a diamond and keep shinning for all your haters to see!!!

Wendy,
Congrats on your soberity, you are such a strong woman. I wonder how easy it is to stay sober being surrounded by so much celebrity glam etc. For you to jus say ‘hey America, this is me’ was beyond brave. Your reaction was so moving to me, I got goose bumps.I would like ta say that you are so ‘real’…but that word is SO overused and often applied loosely to the very wrong people…u are authenticated, validated, tried and true…it’s so easy to pass the buck to the next person, blame them for whatever mis-step that we had taken; and I agree with you that is what Whitney did. For any true progress towards a future to be made in our lives, we must be honest and OWN what we’ve done in our pasts…and like you said, she didn’t own that….
but yea Wendy…take it easy on Bobby, he gaining cuz he’s workin on being sober right? Hopefully celeb fit club gives him a lil assistance with that lol
Thank You for giving me a talk show that I care to watch Wendy!!
Ur awesome!!

Hey Wendy,
How you doin? I love your show, and your honesty i think is great. You are so brave to admit what you have done in the past. I have much respect for you. I love Whitney and even though she may not have owned it, she s come a long way from where she was. I never really got into the drug thing, i have drank, but even that has been limited. I became a mother as soon as i graduated high school and i was not allowed to go to parties in high school. My weekends consisted of watching FAMILY MATTERS AND STEP BY STEP on friday nights and saturdays night the golden girls and empty nest. lol my parents were so strict. actually i thought my mom was going to kill me when she found out i was pregnant. that only happened cause i met my ex at church and she didnt think church kids do bad things. lol. anyways, my ex got into drugs i found out he was doing cocaine. so even though i didnt do it myself i saw how hard it was to get away from it. he never really owned up to it either but he did get clean and has stayed that way. so, i think there is hope for whitney. i think bobby christina gives her stregnth. child seem to do that. i love you and i love your show… Heather

Hey Wendy,
I enjoyed the Oprah interview with Whitney . My comment is why for the life of me can you and the general puplic not support her. Let her have her moment its done she said what she felt like sharing with us.She smoked crack, coke, weed whatever she made that chose. And at this point who ever helped get her started whoever introduced her that doesnt matter. What matter now is what she does with her life from this point forward. You said you did your dirt and look at you now. People are supporting you with your dreams and happiness why can`t she have her moment. I`m sure she lives with those demons everyday. Your opion is yours..I remember the day you racked her over the coals on air..and you seemed to of moved on people hate on people everyday. I will go out this weekend and BUY her cd and I will supoort your show also..because that`s the right thing to do. Let`s remember that she is also a Mom whose daughter had to go thru this also. I`m learning at 42 that we cannot keep judging eachother..In the end we leave this earth without any of the materialistic THINGS..God Bless you and Whitney for each of you having the strength to make it thru. God has you here for a purpose.. LIVE, LOVE,LEARN and LAUGH…

How you doing Wendy… Yesterday’s explanation (about your Kanye West reaction) was adequate for me, and as you say that is the best thing about friendship …. you can disagree and then hang out together the next day. Even though we are friends in my head!!!
You are a brave woman to come clean with the audience and America, I salute your honesty and your strength. Hold your head up high and don’t cry. You are an amazing and real woman. What doesn’t break you makes you stronger.
I love Whitney, but you know and I know that she isn’t entirely off drugs and she hid A LOT from the interview. I thought the interview was so choppy that my eyes would turn out. That wasn’t the best interview Oprah ever did at all. I thought it was very well rehearsed. I was disappointed that Whitney did only one song and now at full strength either, just as her voice began to soar she stopped the song. I guess that was the old adage- “Always leave them wanting more”. The “Million dollar bill song” – is ok. I love “I got you” and “Like I never left” Those songs really show how much she is STILL in love with Bobby… She needs to just say it and move on with her life.
Congrats Wendy on a great show and I will be watching…..

Wendy I am 36 years old and I have been I fan of yours for many years and with all due respect I have to pull your coat and tell you that your behavior was completely off in regards to Whitney. This is not the fist time in your long career that your over the top judgemental side has reared it’s ugly head. Instead of throwing shade YOU should have been the first to give her props. Your not her judge or anyone elses and your not God because he would certainly be wearing a better WIG! Only God created Whitney and only He can judge her. Don’t let that negative side of you destroy all that you’ve worked hard for. And truth be told if you are so hard core about revelations you would admit to yourself that those tears have nothing to do with Whitney Houston but more to do with your own current issues that you need to work out.
You don’t yourself any favors by acting out like that and once again you got outclassed. Be real but be fair and you will get further along in your career and your life.

How u doin? Ok, I think Wendy hit the nail on the head when she said that Whitney really didn’t own up to it. I am very happy for Whitney that she is slowly getting that monkey off of her back and that she is back and looking just as beautiful as ever. However, when she was being interviewed, all I could think of was the interview she did with Diane Sawyer. I got that same feeling except this time she didn’t have Bobby there. I have a brother who has been abusing crack for more than half of his life and he is only 42… She can’t pull the wool over my eyes that easily.

Hi Wendy,
I really appreciate that you were moved to be transparent with your audience about your drug addiction. I’ve never had an addiction to drugs but my father did, so I’ve been effected by it. Although, I applaud your courage everyone isn’t on the same level. I’ve learned you can’t force anyone to do anything they aren’t ready to do. In her interview with Oprah, Whitney Houston said of her sobriety, she takes it one day at time and I’m sure that’s important to her existance. In time she may have the courage to share more of her personal struggle with the world. For now, she looks healthy and appears to be happy. I’m elated for her and her family because rich or poor, it’s no fun having a drug addict in the house. Words are powerful and unfortunately, our expectations and opinions tend to place people in a box and prevents growth. I’m enjoying your show. I loved you on radio. It’s very exciting to witness the world discover what your fans have enjoyed for years as the Wendy Williams experience. Continued success.
P.S. The dress you wore to the Day Time Emmy’s was lovely.

Hi Wendy,
I’ve been blessed to be strong enough never to go the same path as my sibling or my cousins have. I’ve never done drugs or have been additcted, but I do understand where you are coming from. All three were addicted and loved “CRACK COCAINE” they are no longer with us, but I will say that you were dead on about Whitney Houston…I shared your same sentiments. And I do believe she will “back slide” if she doesn’t get more treatment for her addictions. I love Whitney Houston but she pissed me off as if lacing her weed (marijuana) cigarettes with cocaine/crack cocaine was any different. Pipe or no pipe Whitney your an addict and you need to come correct on that. The only difference between you and my sibling and cousins is that you had money. And I’m not saying that Bobby Brown was innocent but you should have been strong enough to say…NO, I will not be taking this path with you. You stood with Bobby because you were cool with getting high with him. I’m married and if my husband ever came to me wanting to experiment with drugs I would be like NO and take him straight to rehab.
Whitney you are one of the lucky ones to have not lost everything and again by the grace of God, your mother and those family members that love you helped you get a second chance.
She said she was addicted to Bobby’s Love…no she was and still is addicted to Crack Cocaine!
I’ve yet to buy her new C.D. (doesn’t mean I won’t) but I feel that giving her too much too soon won’t help her.
Her daughter is beautiful and sweet her demeanor might be Whitney’s but she looks like Bobby.
And WENDY your great! Keep being you!
I cried for you and for those I lost but then I cried happy tears to know at least you made it out of Satan’s hands.
God Bless You and your Family and continue being a Warrior!!! One day at a time.
Girl…How you doing? Keep making me laugh!!! and cry!!!! ;>

Hey Wendy! HOW YOU DOIN’??? I totally see myself in you!!! I want a t.v.show too, can you hook a sista up??? As far as the whole Whitney thing, she did admit to her addiction. Maybe not to your level, because you’re so blunt (thats why we love you so much, you tell it how it is). Well anyways I love you!!!

Hi Wendy,
I Love Love Love your show!! I am a 52 year old widow, I grew up with three heroin addict brothers, I was married to a heroin addict who passed away of liver scerosis, then I was married to a wonderful man for 10 years who was a recovering crack addict. He passed away also two years ago from liver scerosis. Any way what I am trying to say is that I have always been around drug addicts. And I really think that the way you opened up about your a past addiction was so great! I really love the way you are so honest about EVERYTHING. I do pray that Whitney stays clean, but when I was watching her interview I thought that she wasnt really being completly honest. I know what you mean. Keep up the good work.
