Hot Topics: There was a lot of D.R.A.M.A. at the MTV Music Video Awards last night between Kanye West and country music star Taylor Swift.

Tell Us: What did you think of the Kanye West and Taylor Swift incident?

Ask Wendy: On today’s show, Wendy called MaryAnn from Long Island, who is having trouble finding the right bra for the dress she is wearing to her daughter’s wedding.

Wendy gets her bras at Target and suggests that every girl get a proper fitting. For women with bigger “girls,” Wendy recommends trying out Intimacy or Frederick’s of Hollywood to find the right bra.

  1. Hello. I was watching the show today & I saw something that I really did not approve of. When talking about the Janet Jackson performance you said that Janet should have done another song. Well I think that Janet did great with the song she performed. That was the only song that her & her brother ever did together & that was her way of showing memory to her brother via video awards. She did awesome. If you want another song performed in “The King Of Pop”s memory how about you do it.

    Have a comment on Kanye’s behavior…It was so disrespectful to Taylor, if he has a problem with MTV awards, do it on his time. As for his drinking, he should have gotten a ticket for having and open container of alcohol in the street (the “red carpet”) is the street. it is against the law in NYC to have an open container of booze. I think Mayor Bloomie should look into this.

  3. Melanie Fiona was adorable , I wish her a great career and liked that they sampled a 60s beat for her song.
    Last evening I was quite shocked with Kanyes actions but after seeing Wendy this morning she showed us that he had a bit to much to drink.
    What I can not figure out is a person who is so blessed would drink in the first place
    Maybe he is still very upset over his moms tragic passing and this over the top behavior is his way of copeing with his loss.
    Beyonce is a real gracious lady and was so kind and thoughtfull to Taylor Swift she is as nice as she is beautiful.
    Someone should make an all black version of Grease and cast Beyonce as Sandy and Wendy would be great doing Stockard Channings character.
    Alicia Keys and Jay Z. were dynamic,If someone made a movie about Lena Horne,
    Alicia would be a perfect choice to play her.
    Also K.R.S. ONE is playing on Long Island N.Y. thursday evening maybe Wendy can have him on real soon

    You SSSSOOOOO missed the boat on bras for big girls. Can you say Lane Bryant?? I am a well-endowed woman and my minimizer bras (with nipple coverage) from Lane Bryant’s lingerie line Cacique have changed my life. Did you actually ASK any large chested women about this before you aired this segment? Please reconsider. Flimsy bras from JCPenney’s, Macy’s and wherever do not support the heft of a woman with double D’s. Thanks for listening!

  11. How you doin??? I think Janet did a fast song to keep moving and not think about the fact that her brother has been murdered. My younger sister was murdered 15 years ago and it is still hard to speak about her in tributes to this day. Michael was just murdered 2 months ago. I think she honored him and her family, again just my opinion.

  13. Kanye-Absolutely a Great Talented Artistic Mind, ONLY wish- is if he had known how to use it in his everyday life to becoming a better human being for a better society. Maybe then, he would’ve stayed in his seat ! Beyonce never disappoints, incredible woman! Congrats to Taylor!

  14. First of all, who is THIS person below me to determine WHICH kind of music is chosen in the VMAs!!! No one, not even MTV particularly said what kinda music the VMAs deals with ever, so neither should your ignorant ass…who the HELL ARE YOU!?!? Sit your ass down somewhere PLEASE.

    Taylor Swift is a talented young girl and it completely baffles me that everyone who thinks its hilarious and thinks Kanye should get praise are the SAME mf’s who would never be caught DEAD on that stage accepting an award and if they did the laughing would stop completely if West came up there and embarrassed THEIR ASS! Kanye’s arrogance is a catastrophe, there was no reason why he should stoop to such low levels of disrespect and ignorance. Period. T. Swift even said that she was a fan of his before he pulled dat sh!t. Now he lost her and a huge number of other fans for his idiotic behavior…if you really gotta go up onstage and embarrass someone who you know is innocent and kind, new 2 da game, and sweet, then you show how LESS of a TRUE MAN and ARTIST you really are!

    For all of those who think it was right for him to do that, you are just as mindless, sad, and ignorant as Kanye is and its a shame because you probably don’t care. You really don’t see the impact of which this had on Swift, all u see is West acting an arrogant fool (as always). And that impact on her could be very emotionally detrimental, but thank God Beyonce had her back, that was the most classy thing she could’ve done.

    Had the tables been turned on Kanye and a white person, like someone said previously, done that same crap to him, all HELL woulda broke loose and it’ll be a racial riot all over NY. I’m done.

  16. I am watching Wendy via DVR, and I am not thru the hot topics and I have alot to say. I haven’t read any of the above comments so I hope that I say something new.

    All comments are in reference to the VMA DRAMA….

    1. Kanye – VMA are for pop rock and rap. NOT COUNTRY Taylor swift won over Beyonce come the bleep on… The country world has their own music award show let her win best video there. She said it herself ‘I SING COUNTRY’

    1A. Good for Beyonce for giving her her moment but as soon as the little snot said’ OK LET’S TRY THIS AGAIN’ Beyonce should have stepped in front of her and said “OK NEVER MIND’ after all they shut the ‘F’ train line down do little miss swift could sing that song.

    2. Lady Gaga performance was amazing. The song Paparazzi, talking about how no one is famous until they love them. Referencing the celebs that are dying and how the media swarms to delivery false information even after they die.

    4. Janet’s performance “SCREAM” leave it alone. This was the ONLY song that she and michael did together. Grant it she is getting a bit older there was a move there the drop to the knees jump up and spin that she missed but other than that. She performed the perfect tribute to her brother; and they ended it on the best note with the picture of him and her together and the fade to Michael’s face.

    5. The seat fillers just go to show that there are not enough quality artists out there that are even worth nominating. These producers are making a whole lot of money on the auto tone artists and NONE of them can perform in front of the live audience. It is a shame when MTV has to give away tickets to the VMA for it to look like we are producing quality work.

    6. Did you see Eminem face when Lady Gaga came on stage??? He was looking at her like ‘What the bleep is this’ and when she turned to him he looked at her like’ Dont touch or talk to me’

  20. This is another outburst that demonstrates that Kanye has NO SENSE period! Regardless of how he felt and what he was standing up for there is always an appropriate way to handle things; he’s a grown man and he should know better.

    Why does Kanye keep coming back to the MTV award shows if he doesn’t like how they’re ran??? How you doin?
