I agree, Kanye was wrong bc that was Taylor’s time to shine. I’m 14…and i dont listen to country, but i do think he was wrong. It was very inconsiderate…i watch this show everynight…and i dont agree with some comments that were said during hot topics. But it’s whatever…at least he did say sorry…better late then never.
“How You Duin?” lol

Kayne West, no he shouldn’t have said his statement when she was receving her award. But he has freedom of speech. He every right in the world to feel that way. But of them are getting notice from all this drama. Taylor Swift’s music probably getting downloand from kids who would have never have listen to some country music singer. Kayne West is getting his 15 minute of fame which is what he crave for. To me he shouldn’t have apologize for something he wasn’t sorry for. People shouldn’t wear feelings on their sleeves, not every person is going to like you grow up Taylor

This Kanye situation is BS! What Kanye did was not for attention or to hurt Taylor’s feelings. Anyone who owns Kanye’s albums and watches his actions and interviews knows that he has an expressive personality. He speaks the truth because it is part of his personality. He’s a realist and doesn’t internalize his emotions until after the fact. It was rude to interrupt Taylor’s acceptance speech, but what he said was right… Beyonce had one of the best videos of all times. The award was for best video of the year, not the sweetest, purest female in the music industry. It’s clear that Kanye was trying to make that point that Beyonce had one hell of a video and he was outraged that her video went unrecognized in that category. Kanye is passionate about music and views it as an art form. He gives 100% into every project and he feels and expects other artist to do the same. People are not making YouTube videos of Taylor’s song “You Belong With Me.” On the flip side people are making YouTube videos of Beyonce’s song “Single Ladies.” I went to Beyonce’s Iam… Sasha Fierce concert this summer and she incorporated all the YouTube videos of “Single Ladies” into her concert. The fact that Beyonce did this shows that even she realizes and acknowledges the magnitude and influence her video had on fans and viewers. Not only that, Taylor’s music in my opinion doesn’t fit the country genre. When I think of country music I think of Carrie Underwood, Sugarland, Reba McEntire and Martina McBride. Taylor’s music is more pop than country. It generally sounds like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus. Yes, what Kanye did was rude. He should not have taken the mic and interrupted Taylor, but his intension was not to be rude. His intention was to let people know that Beyonce’s video topped all the other nominees, therefore female video of the year should have gone to Beyonce. When Chris Brown pounded Rihanna’s face in, damn near no one had anything to say… and the one’s that did have something to say defended him. Kanye, on the other hand, does something to a much lesser degree and the country is ready to crucify his ass. Let’s be real people… Taylor still received her award and she was able to continue her moment on Beyonce’s behalf. This situation really gives volume to the thought process of our society. We turn a blind eye to Chris Brown’s situation and we crucify Kanye’s situation. Our cultural and society in a nutshell… Screwed up priorities makes for a screwed up society.

Kanye just said what everybody wanted to say. He could have waited at least a couple of seconds after Taylor received the award. But I agree with the comment he made.

How u doing Wendy? I love you and your radio history and your tv show, but I have a bone to pick with you.
Kanye West…. OK … As you know, you will never ever have a first time again (receiving a MTV music award) and he RUINED Taylor’s moment. It was a HORRIBLE thing to do to take that moment away from her. This is not the first time that he was at an award show and took a mike from someone and spoke his mind (albeit it was the first time on NATIONAL TV) He did it in at the MTV international awards too. And it happened when his mom was alive so tell give me and others that he is broken because of his mom. Kanye is not a Man, because if he was the first apology should have been a phone to Taylor begging for her forgiveness. I am not a Taylor Swift fan but she is a better person then Kanye will EVER be. To let a day go without a decent apology (the first one was a BIG JOKE) is unexcuseable. We all DON’T make those kinds of mistakes. This is more than just an OOPS moment and it is a trend with him. He is never truly penalized for his mistakes so he feels that he can disrespect ANYONE at ANYTIME ANYWHERE. This is NOT acceptable at all. I don’t blame President Obama for calling him what he did.
I blame Kanye first and then I blame MTV to let him come on stage and make a fool of himself. Where was security? Let suppose that it was a gunman or even a Republican carrying a firearm (LOL) someone would have been hurt or even killed.
I didn’t like your response. “Taylor will get other awards somewhere else.” She was dissed on National TV and it is on youtube, internet, etc…. You never forget about that. She is not Bambi. She is a living breathing person with feelings and I wouldn’t accept his apology. He needs to leave music, drinking and drugs alone and find a recovering program. Only then would I accept his apology.

Hi Wendy! How u do-ing? I first heard of u on one of the music channels and the moment I watched the show I was hooked, it saddened me that they did’nt keep it on longer, anyhoo, I do not miss your shoe and am very proud of you WW. I think what kanye did was appalling. I felt that young girl’s pain. When he snatched that mic from her spouting his insanity and totally embarressed Beyonce, I could have slapped him silly. I am the mother of a murdered child, my baby was 20 years old when she was killed, the point is I was self-destructive to myself. My pain did not make me hurt others, just myself. Trying to blame losing his mother (and he has my deepest sympathy), but we all know Kayne was crazy before his mother died so he’s been broken for a long time. The blog’s are saying it was staged, but to go out of your way to hurt someone is just sick, he should spend his time thanking the good LORD, that he lived to be the A-list star he is now.

Had to add a comment about Kanyes apology. Tuesday Taylor Swift was
on The View and said Kanye never contacted her to apologize. Didnt
call/email/text–nothing. So to me his apology on a blog or on Leno are
just for his image, if he were truly sorry about what he did to Taylor he
wouldve apologized to her personally somehow.

Kanye was wrong, wrong, wrong….did I mention he was wrong? But, don’t bring his mama up in this stuff. She’s gone and let her rest in peace.

I watched the VMA’s and Kanye West’s behavior was totally uncalled for. Is this the result of giving some people too much power and them not being able to handle stardom. Shame on you Kanye! As for the comment about Janet and her choice to perform “Scream”. I feel that this was Janet’s tribute to her brother, this is the song she performed with her brother. This is the song he asked her to perform with him when she was showing her support for Michael in his time of trouble. This is her way showing her continued support for her brother (even in death). Is it up to us to dictate how she chooses to celebrate her relationship with her brother.

Wendy- How you doing ?????? what did you think about that ho that was Joe Jackson’s date at the VMA’s — I wonder if she cost more than the #6 on Mc.Donalds menu – because she looked worst than the beef and chicken served at MC.DONALDS SHE LOOK LIKE A TRAMP WHAT IS JOE DOING ?????

Kanye West is a total Douchebag and a coward. Had an adult won that award, he probably would’ve thought twice about jumping up on that stage like that. I missed hot topic this morning but stupid is as stupid does. All I know is that had it been me, teenager or not, I would have helped him right on down the stairs with a foot to his A$%. It was rude and disrespectful. He has no respect for the industry and fellow artists. He’s a disgrace and I personally was embarrassed that once again some idiot was making US look bad. You would think that after his near fatal accident he would learn a little humility and be grateful that he’s blessed to live another day to use the talents that God has given him. I know I’ll never support another album of his. And Ms. Jackson ripped it last night. It wouldn’t make sense to do one of her own songs since it was a tribute to her brother.

I was so disappointed in with your comments tonight regarding Kanye. It was obvious you didn’t want to address his behavior. Although you showed the clip you glossed over it by talking about the open bar, his sharing the bottle with others, MTV security and his status as an “A” lister. All of these are excuses for HIS behavior and you ought to be ashamed for condoning it. That is exactly what you did by the way you handled that hot topic. The reason why celebrities (actors & athletes) get away with such behavior is because of people like you who don’t hold accountable. No one has enough talent to justify that behavior. He stole from that young girl. An apology is good but he needs to be brought into check by his peers – not encouraged. You had a chance to step up to the plate but you didn’t – you had more interest in telling about a party where the hosts didn’t even show up. Your audience took a stand but you didn’t – shame on you!

I just wanted to comment on the lady who had the bra question. She should try Lane Bryant they have a great line called Cacique which carrys a 6-in-1 bra that comes with all types of interchangable straps as well as backstraps and included is a clear one that will probably work really fine with her dress.

Love you sooo much future client Wendy, but I have to agree with this person. Janet did the only song that she sang & danced with her brother. I think that was the purpose. I believe you misunderstood the whole concept or purpose for her to be on the award show Wendy, not to look like the Nat & Natalie Cole video.

HEY WENDY….UMMM I JUST WANT TO START OFF WITH THE KANYE BULLS*IT…I STILL CANT BELIEVE HE PULLED THAT STUNT…I FEEL DISRESPECTED FOR HER…AND I LOVE YOU BUT I DONT THINK ITS RIGHT THAT YOU BLAME HIS ANTICS ON THE ALCOHOL…EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME HES GONE ON STAGE AND RUINED SOMEONES SPEECH.(look up the 2006 euorpean vmas)..AND THIS ISN’T THE FIRST TIME HES PUT DOWN A COUNTRY ARTIST(look up the grammy’s)…HE IS VERY DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS OTHER ARTIST OUT THERE…I THINK KANYE IS THE BIGGEST DOUCHE BAG ON EARTH…I BET HE FELT LIKE AN EVEN BIGGER DOUCHE AFTER HE SAW BEYONCE BRING TAYLOR ON STAGE AND LET HER FINISH TAYLORS ACCEPTENCE SPEECH…ONE MORE THING I WISH KANYE’S MOUTH WAS WIRED SHUT AGAIN…AND THATS ALL
