In yesterday’s edition of Wendy’s California Trip, Wendy was able to hail a cab after her car never showed up and get to NBC in time for her segment.
After a bunch of TV, print and radio appearances Wendy finally had a few minutes to eat and unwind.

Another point of view, regarding the incident with Kanye. Everyone wants to talk about Kanye being “racist”. Well who wants to talk about the racism we see, EVERYDAY, ALL THE TIME, in all walks of life, politics, the justice system, corporate America, but ESPECIALLY in the media. African American’s are OFTEN snubbed, overlooked, degraded, passed over in MANY of these areas, award ceremonies included (Golden Globe, Emmy’s, MTV, etc ). Come on Taylor over Beyonce, BRITNEY SPEARS over Beyonce??? Sorry THAT’S RACISM at its best (or worst)!!! And I can fill 100 pages of all the African American’s that has been snubbed and overlooked in these “award ceremonies” down through the YEARS! Who’s feeling sorry for them? Who’s fighting for them? I mean come on it took Michael Jackson to become the first black man to air on MTV? And I won’t even mention the fact, well maybe I will, that for Michael Jackson’s “tribute” ALL OF THE DANCER’S WERE WHITE!!!! What the hell is that about??? You couldn’t find one brother, one sista, (not counting the ones who danced with Janet) Not ONE???!?! Michael Jackson was a BLACK MAN and you don’t have the decency to have one up there representing him? Talk about a snub! Again that’s racism! What, we have to be damn near mega-Gods before we get recognized or acknowledged!?! Everyone wants to feel sorry for poor little young Taylor, but how many poor little young (and old) black folk, don’t even get a chance at the bat for an award (WHEN THEY DESERVE IT), BECAUSE THEY’RE BLACK!!! But everyone overlooks those slights, ignore it, except it as “that’s just the way it is”! Again, who out there feels sorry for them? Who’s out there screaming for their justice? And you know the difference between Kanye’s so called “racism” and white society’s racism? Kanye’s form of “racism”, at the end of the day, DID NOT KEEP TAYLOR FROM GETTIING HER AWARD, where MTV (and white america’s) brand of racism towards blacks DOES!!! He may have stolen her moment but he DIDN’T HAVE THE POWER to steal her ultimate achievement, an award. But again, MTV (as does white america), has that power, which they can and do utilize it! ALL THE TIME!!! And again, who’s getting pissed about that? WELL I AM! Who’s apologizing to all the young black women & men who are passed over EVERY YEAR? NO ONE! And TRUST they’re just as hurt if not more than Taylor was and their feelings ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT!
And when do we as African American’s stand up in the face of racism and say ENOUGH!! We’re tired of this s—-t! We AINT having it no more!! When do we start fighting back AND WHAT WILL IT TAKE to change this ugly, ugly, SILENT, looong lasting, social evil? If not at an award ceremony then when? Well Kanye did AND I AINT MAD AT HIM!!! Sometimes desperate times, calls for desperate measures!!!! You’re right the whole world was watching and it was ugly, nasty, unfair, and WRONG, but so is the underlying, EVER PRESENT, racism (which the world is watching also); racism that we find ourselves as African Americans confronted with ON A DAILY BASIS, in every walk of life, in this country we call the Land of The Free! It too is ugly, nasty unfair and WRONG!
And the fight against it is just as ugly and nasty, hell fights are nasty period (but sometimes neccessary), (especially when fighting people, people with power, who refuse to acknowledge or CHANGE IT!)) (I mean, isn’t that how we came to be such a great country?), So FIGHT BACK WE MUST!!! Even if it means standing up on national T.V. and hurting someone’s feelings, to make your point! You’re right racism is alive and kicking in America (even at a MTV award)!!
It’s LONG overdue to kick back! Go Kanye!

The Janet Jackson Tribute to Michael at the VMA song selection was based on the ONLY SONG that Janet and Michael collaborated on as brother/sister. You said on the Monday show that you didn’t know why she selected that song. I love your show Girlfriend, but you missed the SCOOP on this one. Janet selected this song because it was a tribute to Michael based on the WORK they did together. Notice in the rerun of VMA, how well the choreography was to make Michael APPEAR ON STAGE with the movements Janet was doing on the stage. It was a wonderful and EMOTIONAL tribute from Janet to Michael. Also, Girlfriend, I wish you would have noticed how the dancers on the STAGE were doing in UNISON the thriller dance moves in TANDEM. That was amazing and WORTHY of commentation from you. I watch your show because of your keen since of fashion, style, getting AND reporting on the scoop and having a wonderful personality on screen and with your audience.

her clothes, and more than anything else is how honest she is…and Wendy….

I love when you gave the prices of your clothes, I think you look great everyday, but that day..I thought how much I would like a pencil skirt like that,
and figured it must be very expensive…then you told us what you paid, that was very cool of you…!

wow, your different from many other talk show hosts, my sister dislike u and loves tyra, but me.. i hate tyra and like u cause tyra is fake (to me) your personality is austintacious, your down to earth and its cool, well. i have to release a problem even if u dnt care about my needs, i like someone at skool mmm i cant stop thinking about this person,i try to get near them because whenever i do i feel my heart beat faster when they get near me, and it feels like love, i know they dnt like me but i still can help but think and think and think about them, love sux especially when there ataagnmmilhsm well twil i love u
