Essence’s Fall Fashion Trends
Fall is in the air.
It’s almost time to store away your summer clothes and bring out your fall ensemble.
Essence beauty editor, Pamela Edwards, reveals this years fall fashion trends.
1. Take a jumpsuit into the fall by pairing it with a tailored jacket.
2. Bold brights can be highlighted with neutral tones.
3. Give lace an edge by pairing with bold accessories.
4. Tone down the bulk of faux fur with form fitting skirts or pants.
Jump. Jump.
Cynthia is modeling the jumper trend for fall. Jumpsuits are wonderful transition pieces from summer to fall.
Her jumper is by Tibl and the leather jacket is from French Connection.
Accessories really help round out an outfit. The link necklace is by Kenneth Jay Lane and those shoes are Steve Maddens.

Nicole is modeling the lace trend, which is hot this fall.

The JC Penny Black Worthington skirt is just $36 and is a perfect way to add a pop of color to this sexy, but professional look.

Those shoes, which are great for girls with larger sized feet, are by Samantha.

Preet is a proud member of PETA, and is rocking this faux fur look.
The faux fur jacket is from Rebecca Taylor and her graphite multi-knit crew neck sweater is by Isaac Mizrahi for Liz Claiborne.

The leather driving gloves by LaCrasia give Preet an edgier look.

It is so sad that folk don’t think for themselves, but pass down traditions that someone else made up. It was meant to show you had class, too. Some folk walk around with no inner class, but wearing all the “right” things. Work on yourself, and then you won’t need to follow the rules of others…..
In essence? Wear white ya’ll!

I am 62 years young and believe that you should wear whatever color you would like to after Labor Day, including white!!! I intend to wear white until I get sick and tired of seeing it, which may be into 2010 and beyond. I look good in white!!! Forget that old saying. It is not apporpriate for 2009 and beyond!!!!! Be what you want to be!!!
