Wendy Inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame
Wendy received a surprise phone call this morning in Hot Topics and found out that she will be inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
Wendy is only the second African-American woman to receive such a prestigious honor.

Hey Wendy!! How u doooinng?? congrats on all ur success..You r truly a Diva n always on ur grind…U r a bff in my head.The more I watch u, the more i see how similar we are (from ur luv of food to ur tell it like it is attitude)I LUV ur show.I can’t start my day w/o u..U truly inspire me. I first saw it during ur 6week sneak peak n it was a God send for me because I was at a low point in my life and watching everyday gave me my mojo back.I’ve known of u since radio n I remember ur drama but u never let that stop u. And i thank u for continuing to be You..Hopefully i will see u soon as i continue to try n get tix..lol..EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE THE QUEEN OF MEDIA!!!!!!!

What can I say but a well deserved “CONGRATULATIONS”, you did it! I couldn’t wait to get off of work and get to my car so I could listen to you on my way home .(a 45 min drive). Needless to say I would either be cracking up or in total shock (which is not good when your driving) depending on the topic or the quesat. Now I absolutely LOVE watching you on television (at home where it is safe). I’m very proud of you. I’m not going to ask “HOW YOU DO’IN”, ’cause Ms Wendy is do’in fine. Best of luck, and bless you.

Congrats Wendy! You mean more to people than you know. Your “It is what it is” attitude and lessons on being fearless, has changed my life forever. It is through the TV show’s sneak-peek, that I found you on radio, and I hate that I missed all of these years of entertainment. OMG – Wendy I have been a fan for a loooooong time. Over the years, I’ve had this love-hate relationship with “the friend in my head”. You would say something and make me mad and I promised to never listen to you again!!! But the next day I was breaking my neck to get to the radio. I eventually gave up

How You Doin? I love you Wendy! I am from Columbia, SC and I’m 25, Puerto Rican, independent woman, and I listened to you at night coming home from school after working towards my MBA. I hated it when they changed the time from evening to late at night! You are fabulous! When I first found out about you, at first I didn’t like listening to all that Chatter about celeb’s dirty laundry and cringed when I heard all the talk about adult topics, but then….. don, don, don…. I got hooked!! It was like you were my girlfriend as i drove home from work, school, etc dishing on things that I really don’t care- but- I care about – you know! Especially those adult things I never knew about and the different terminology. I caught a few shows when you were coming on taping in the studio and doing Red Carpet but I wished we could see more of you in person and now it finally happened. Thanks for keeping it real and don’t change for anybody. I like that you don’t shy away from being normal and you tell it like it is. Also, on BET I catch your show at 11pm and because of you I have been going to bed entirely too late and getting to work late. I am hooked!! Keep at it cause you are the new IT!

CONGRATS WENDY!!! I started crying as soon as the gentleman said he was from The Radio Hall of Fame. I really can’t explain in words how proud I felt for you at that moment. See, I don’t know you from the radio but, from your commercials alone, announcing your arrival to the TV earlier this year excited me. You seemed so real. When you went off the air I missed you and was so glad to see you up and running again a couple weeks ago.
