The Dizzy Feet Foundation
Dance. Dance. Dance.
Stars like Carrie Ann Inaba and Katie Holmes are using their celebrity to give back to children who crave an artistic outlet to express themselves.
With funding for art programs in schools being cut, Carrie Ann Inaba founded the Dizzy Feet Foundation to “improve, and increase access to dance education in the United States.”

I think this is a great thing that you are doing. My 4 year old loves to watch So you think you can dance and is always trying to do the things she sees. She has been asking me to take dance since she was 2. We have 5 children, one with health problems and unfortunately we can’t afford to put her in classes. I hate having to tell her I can’t do it, so I keep telling her that we will see. Please tell me how I can go about applying for this for her. She would really enjoy dance. Thank you

My daughter Kiajah loves to dance. she was in a dance school and did very well
but unfortunately, last year I couldn”t afford to send her. I would really like more information on dizzyfeet. Is there a scholarship that we can apply for so my daughter can live her passion of dance

Hello. Me and my daughter, Ariel were watching a marathon of “So you think you can dance” yesterday on the Reality Channel. I saw the story about The Dizzy Feet Foundation. This is a great thing that all the celebreties are doing for underprivlivaged youth in this country to learn a great art form.My duaghters, Mallory and Ariel were given a similiar chance. They were given a scholarship to a local studio to study dance. Their dance career has taken them to many new places. Places they would have never seen, like Myrtle Beach, and the Famous Lincoln Center.Ariel and Mallory are now in college and continue thier study of dance. Ariel continues to take workshops during the summer when she is home form school. These workshops cost money. Costs that are not covered by financial aid or student loans. Ariel had a dream of dancing on Broadway one day. Ariel and Mallory were given a chance. They not only learned a skill, but a discipline. Dance has greatly affected their lives in a positive way! Ariel also has a passion for the stage and her dance. She needs to be convinced that she is a very good dancer. Maybe if she was seen by someone who is influential, she would realize that she needs to continue with dance. Mallory, Ariel and I remain committed to helping a young dancer in our area with costs incurred for lessons, costumes, etc.

I think It’s a great cause. My sisters want to join a dance school since their school doesnt have a program for arts. Unfortunetly we don’t have the funds to cover since we live week by week. Sometimes we dont have food.
