Wendy, can you send these people a check?
(CNN) — Two people were found dead and a third person is still believed missing in a North Carolina food plant heavily damaged in a morning explosion, police said Tuesday night.
Part of a collapsed ConAgra Foods plant lies atop parked cars Tuesday in Garner, North Carolina.
Four people were in critical condition after the explosion at the ConAgra Foods plant in the town of Garner, CNN affiliate WRAL-TV reported.
The explosion, reported about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, caused sections of the roof to collapse. Search efforts for those missing were slowed by ammonia leaks and a fire that was not extinguished until afternoon.
“There was no warnings, no signs,” Garner Mayor Ronnie Williams said. “It all happened very abruptly.”
At least 38 people were transported to area hospitals, said Jeff Hammerstein, district chief for Wake County Emergency Medical Services.
Four burn victims — two males and two females — were undergoing critical care at the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center, said Dr. Bruce Cairns. The patients suffered burns that covered from 40 to 60 percent of their bodies, Cairns said.
Police said recovery workers still were trying to get the two bodies out of the plant, which makes Slim Jim food products. The victims’ names weren’t immediately available.
More than 300 people were in the plant when the explosion happened, authorities said. The cause of the blast was unknown, according to Garner police spokesman Joe Binns.
Rescuers were crawling into the rubble — sometimes in pockets of space less than 30 inches tall — in attempts to access the two bodies and find the missing person, officials said at a news conference Tuesday night.
The search crews were moving slowly in part because the building is very unstable, officials said.
Video from the scene showed holes in sections of the roof of the 425,000 square-foot plant. First responders set up a makeshift triage area near the building. A section of the roof was collapsed, and pipes could be seen spewing liquid believed to be ammonia. Watch liquid spew from building »
ConAgra Foods’ brands include Healthy Choice, Chef Boyardee and Orville Redenbacher, among others. The Garner plant is known for producing Slim Jim beef jerky products.
The company was “working with authorities on the ground to ensure that their employees are getting all of the support that they need,” said Stephanie Childs, ConAgra director of corporate communication. “The employees’ health is their only real concern at this time.”
Gail Ruffin, a ConAgra worker who was in the plant when the explosion happened, told WRAL she heard a boom.
“The ceiling start coming down, and we all start running,” Ruffin, who wasn’t injured, told WRAL. “Everyone was trying to get to the exit door. … I was just trying to get out, and then we just [saw] people that [were] burned — blood all over them.”

To the poem Guy Bobbie,it sounds good, this is a big promblem in the black community, your right it seems blacks or making a fool of themselves…Black people keep having babies, with
either no father or mother around. This doesn’t go to all blacks,so don’t get offened people, but this is making me mad…The kids got to know gangs aren’t there family…
Kids keep having kids,Parents need to start being there loving there children more. So what you didn’t get no love as a child yourself, you should make it better for your’s…These young black people need guidance, and some need to stop using gangs for an excuse, cause i didn’t had both parents love, and i came out ok…
If your a gang member,or want to join, and you happen to be reading this,GANGS ARE NOT YOUR FAMILY,your REAL FAMILY is the ones go have your back,no matter how messed up your family are,one of them must show up at the prison door…Your precious GANG buddys won’t be there, They will be saying, like the hell with that Sh…T….If this can change a child mind thats reading this not to join,or get out, well i’m proud i wrote this then…Love you wendy, and please check all my comments thanks hun,HOW YOU DOIN? LOL…You wore one of my fav wigs today, check the others in my other comment that i love bye…

Hi my dear wendy HOW YOU DOIN?LOL…I send you comments hope you read…
You’ll see some conections to all the ones i’ve send before…Wendy i got a question that kind of bothering me.I have a family friend i knew from kids,i am a few years head ,not much…….We are both young but not very early twenties…
We recently got back in touch, and i have shared some personal bussiness with them.
They have too …I got to notice they seem rude, think there better than others, also sense some jealousy…I didn’t pay any mind, cause i have love for this person, they recently ask me to join them on one of those net works to become friends.
Anyway make a long story short,we recently had a disscusion on the network about something way diffrent from age, wendy i’m proud of my age, but was it there bussiness to put my age out there ?and on top of it they were very rude and someone else on there told them they were wrong also, they got angry at the person. Now wendy this is what hurts me, they start throwing my personals back in my face in private, and we wern’t even arguing….
Just letting them know that they were wrong,i say to myself wendy i’m never telling people my bussiness again. The other person told them they need to grow up,and i say the same. What do you think of it wendy? let me know and please answer me lol. I send two comments already, they all got diffrent questions and compliments, so please read,i hope you’ll take some of my suggestions, bye my sweet, classy, very funny wendy.
God bless…I know you’ll be talking about the awards,it was very nice and i wonder where beyonce was?lets think about lol,and i really loved Whitney Houston performance,i cried it was very touching,i know you cried too, cause you are a little softy like me in your heart…bye wendy…let me here now please…LoL…ANOTHER TO ALL THE HATERS WENDY IS NOT A MAN…I KNOW MANY GOT LOVE,but this MAN FOOLISHNESS NEEDS TO STOP,we are broke still and WENDY IS OUT THERE SO STOP HATING and shout your BLASTED MOUTHS…(SO YESTERDAY!)Fine something new,she still doin it, you can’t take her shine HATER”S..where is the LOVE>>>>GO look in the Mirror…And don’t throw my biz back at me,it is childish…

Wendy, regarding your under arm perspiration, stop using the clinical deodorant. I used to use it and sweat all the time.
Use a deodorant that is both a deodorant AND antiperspirant.

Now Ms Wendy, you made a small little comment during the ‘shoe’ segment yesterday, and I just can’t let that slide by. The comment was women over 40 women don’t have to cut their hair ‘short’ no more, now I’m a black woman/55 years of age, and have been a ‘wiggy’ since the 70′s. But I’m tired of seeing everyone in wigs and weave, black women grow beautiful hair, but I just recently cut my hair back short, and the reason a lot of women my age keep hair shorter is because of a hormone reason called HOT FLASHES, and I hope your first HOT FLASH, isn’t on camera, under all that hair, ’cause you will feel like your going to BURST INTO FLAMES AND BREAK OUT IN A FIERCE SWEAT. It ain’t pretty and it ain’t no joke.
So keep up the good work, you make me happy 5 days a week.
much love…………….miss renee’

Wendy, i wanna know why u promote interracial relationships between black men and white women but u rarely promote black on black love…u speek so highy of the Hoe-dashian sister’s but u rarely have anything to say about the hard-working black women of hollywood who actually have talent.
I find it very offensive that u used the word “negroidian” in a room full of white people!…I would appreciate ur show if u’d do more to promote BLACK ON BLACK LOVE and stop talkin about those talentless hoe-dashian sisters!!!
your constant promoting of interracial love and gays is turning many black women off to ur shoe…ME INCLUDED

I just had to write to tell you how much I enjoy your show. I have never watched any talk shows (no, not even Oprah!) as I always had a conventional 9-5 job. I now work for myself as a caregiver keeping seniors in their home. One gentleman that I care for always has the TV on and it happened to be on Fox and you were on. I laughed so hard that on the days I take care of him I make sure the TV is set to your channel. You tell it like it is and are so upfront about yourself that one can’t help but love you. Keep it up! How you doing???

I love Wendy’s show–she is so over the top and I believe she is my BFF (in my head). I have one problem and it is with her eye makeup. The dark colors that cover the entire eye areas make her look like she has two black eyes. There have been days in the past when the makeup was lighter and looked great on her.
Just a suggestion, less is better!!
Love ya!!!
