Message from Wendy: How You Doin’ America?
I can’t believe it. In just 48-hours I’ll be saying “How you doin’ America?” for the very first time. Last summer I did a “Six Week Sneak Peak” in New York, Los Angles, Dallas and Detroit to see if America could handle this mess and I PASSED!
My shoe game is ON. My TV wigs are teased and sprayed. I’ve picked out a special little number for my big debut and on Monday, July 13th,“The Wendy Williams Show” will make its national premiere.
How about that?
I want to thank all of you, my fans, for your love and support over the years. This show is going to be one big party. I’m not here to change the world, just to make you smile and laugh for an hour, and maybe, hopefully, allow you to forget all your worries, even if just for a moment.
So get ready America! Wendy is coming. I promise it’ll be just like you like it, “Real, Raw and Regular.”

I have loved your show since it first aired!. How REAL and refreshing. I am back and forth between DC and NY. Hopefully I’ll get to meet you soon.
Your fashion sense is inspiring and you are a wonderful role model with great answers to your audience’s questions. You know that you are breaking new ground for REAL-ITY talk shows. I appreciate your candor and honesty in your answers to the questions that we all want to ask. Keep up the great work! You make me proud.

hi wendy, I like your show so far but I want to say some thing about how u refer the lady in a blue out fit “qween of Sheba ” I don’t know if u know how big that word is for us Ethiopian people or u know the history of Sheba ?

I know it’s a hard transition since you are coming from radio, but PLEASE stop looking down at your notes while speaking! It makes for extremely bad TV! Please use cue cards or a teleprompter because looking down at your notes causes constant disconnect with your television audience. By looking directly into the TV screen, as Oprah does, viewers get the feeling that you are speaking directly to them, that is where you establish that connection that is essential to building your audience base. Using your notes also causes you to lose focus on what topics you are discussing. You appear scattered, frazzled and out of sorts. I realize this was the first program and I know there are always kinks to work out, but please take my advice and lose the notes!

I watched your show when I was out on a medical leave and I loved it. This morning behind a bus I saw you happy face announcing your new show, I ran upstairs to my copmputer. Girl, I just had to look you up.
