Message from Wendy: How You Doin’ America?
I can’t believe it. In just 48-hours I’ll be saying “How you doin’ America?” for the very first time. Last summer I did a “Six Week Sneak Peak” in New York, Los Angles, Dallas and Detroit to see if America could handle this mess and I PASSED!
My shoe game is ON. My TV wigs are teased and sprayed. I’ve picked out a special little number for my big debut and on Monday, July 13th,“The Wendy Williams Show” will make its national premiere.
How about that?
I want to thank all of you, my fans, for your love and support over the years. This show is going to be one big party. I’m not here to change the world, just to make you smile and laugh for an hour, and maybe, hopefully, allow you to forget all your worries, even if just for a moment.
So get ready America! Wendy is coming. I promise it’ll be just like you like it, “Real, Raw and Regular.”
I’ll see you Monday.
Love,
Wendy

I watched everyday of the sneak-peek and loved it. I even celebrated my birthday with you for the first time during sneak-peek, and again this year. My birthdate is July 18, 1943. Is there something in us that makes us interested in Movie Stars? I have been buying the Scandal Sheets and Gossip Magazines all of my life from my teen-age years when I earned baby-sitting money until now. When I learned during the sneak-peek that we shared the same birthday, and the same interest in GOSSIP of famous people, I no longer feel different or odd about my favorite past time.
I love you and your show.
Good Luck to you and I hope you are on forever. You are the only real person on TV.
Thank you,
Julie
